After having finished brushing her teeth, Ayumu takes a sip from her cup and then accidently swallows the water while gurgling. This is not present in the manga.
At the Sanzenin Mansion, Hayate asks Nagi if there was something she would want that would make her happy. In this scene, Nagi is shown to be playing a fighting video game. In the manga, she was playing a Princess Maker themed game.

Hinagiku then gives Miki a return gift for the chocolates she had received from her on Valentines day. In this scene, Hinagiku is shown giving them to her in a hallway. In the manga, Hinagiku gives them to her after the school assembly, while handling student council work with Aika and Chiharu.
As Hinagiku calls Ayumu's cell phone, Hinagiku receives a message informing her that Ayumu's cell phone was completely broken and if she wanted to know why then she'd have to watch episode 15. In the manga, the message tells her that Ayumu had accidentally dropped the phone while she was being attacked by a group of assassins.
As Maria returns to the Sanzenin Mansion, Nagi asks her for a snack, to which Maria then offers to share some of the cookies that Hayate gave her earlier. This is not present in the manga.
At the park, Hayate uses a pay phone to call Maria to ask her for the cookies she had taken earlier, but is informed that she had already eaten them. This is absent in this episode.
The logo on Hinagiku's jogging outfit was altered. In this episode the logo read "Punta". In the manga, it was "Punya".
After having asked Hayate if he gets paid for his butler services, Hinagiku suggests that he sell any of his possessions to scrape enough money to buy Ayumu a gift but is told by Hayate that he doesn't have anything to sell and notes that when he started working for Nagi he didn't even have any spare clothes. At Café Donguri, Hinagiku introduces Hayate to her friend Hokuto Kaga. In the manga, Hokuto is shown wearing prayer beads on his right arm. In this episode, he is seen without them.
As Hayate begins to work on his gift for Ayumu, Hayate is shown to be wearing an apron. In the manga, he was shown without one.
