Differences in the Manga

Chapter 115
  • At the Shimoda hot springs, Hatsuho asks Isumi if Nagi had arrived at Shimoda. In this scene, Hatsuho is shown to be sitting in the hot springs with Isumi. In the manga, Hatsuho was standing.
  • As Ayumu and Nagi speed away from the assassins, a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen notes that they are riding on a private Sanzenin driveway. This is not present in the manga.
  • As Ayumu tells Nagi that they had lost the assassins, Nagi is shown to be standing on the back of Ayumu's bike. In the manga, she was sitting down.
  • After Nagi suggests for Ayumu to ditch her bike and go by train, Ayumu tells her that her mother had bought her the bike as a high school entrance gift. In the manga, Ayumu told her that her mother bought her the bike as a middle school graduation gift.
  • After having gotten off of Ayumu's bike, Nagi tells her that her bike would get destroyed if she got caught by the assassins that were after her. In the manga, Nagi tells Ayumu that if they kept fighting her bike would break.
  • Before telling Ayumu that Hayate would catch up with her soon, Nagi asks her if she wanted Hayate to see her in dirty clothes. This is absent in this episode.
  • Before resuming their trip to the Atami station, an assassin shoots the juice can in Ayumu's hands and it ricocheted onto the guardrail. In the manga, Ayumu never let go of the juice can.
  • As Ayumu attempts to peddle away from the assassin's car, the assassins pull up along side them and asks them if it was about time for them to give up. In this scene they take aim at Nagi. This is not present in the manga.
  • As Nagi called out to Hayate, two utility poles slam down onto the assassin's car, causing it to flip and then land next to a guardrail. In the manga, the assassin's car crashes into the two utility poles.
  • Having told Hayate to go on ahead without her, Ginka is shown with her cats before dealing with the assassins. This is not present in this episode.
Chapter 116
  • At the Atami station, after Hayate had given Ayumu back her cell phone, Maria thanks Ayumu for looking after Nagi. This is not present in this episode.
  • After Hinagiku had told Hayate that she would accompany Nagi and Maria to Shimoda, Hayate asks her to take care of Nagi and Maria while he was escorting Ayumu to Shimoda. This is absent in this episode.
  • As Hayate peddles Ayumu to Shimoda, Ayumu is shown to be standing on the back of her bike. In the manga, she was sitting.
    • Additionally, a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen, notes that they are riding on a private Sanzenin driveway. This is not present in the manga.
  • As Hayate accelerates, Ayumu asks him if he was going too fast, to which he tells her that if he didn't peddle at that speed, they wouldn't make it to Shimoda that day. This is absent in this episode.
    • Additionally, Hayate asking Ayumu if she wanted to wave at Nagi, Maria and Hinagiku as they passed by their train, is absent in this episode.
  • Having been aggravated by the couple in a sports car, Hayate peddles faster, shocking the couple as he and Ayumu passed by them. This is not present in the manga.
  • While riding to Shimoda, Hayate mentions to Ayumu that White day was coming up and tells her that he was thinking about what to give her for her gift. In the manga, Hayate tells Ayumu that she appeared in his dream a few days ago and he promised to give her a return gift for White day.
Chapter 118
  • At Rental Video V Tachibana, Saki asks Wataru if it was okay for them not to go to Shimoda, to which he tells her that they didn't have much of a choice because they didn't have enough money nor the time to go. After noticing that she was wearing a yukata, Wataru asks her why she was wearing one. She tells him that she was wearing it to make it feel like she was at the Shimoda hot springs. Feeling guiltily, Wataru takes her to a public bath house, to make up to her for the fact that they couldn't go that year. This is absent in this episode.
  • After Sakuya had greeted Nagi in the Shimoda Sanzenin mansion, Sakuya's line to Nagi about how she comes to Shimoda every year is absent in this episode.
  • After having paid the elderly woman 8,000 yen to get into the hot springs, Sakuya's line to Nagi about how she felt that she got ripped off is absent in this episode.
  • While getting undressed in the dressing room, Nagi discusses with Sakuya on what the elderly woman meant by that there is something not human living in the hot springs. This is omitted in this episode.
  • After coming back to the mansion, Hayate and Maria learn that Nagi had left the mansion with Sakuya to go to the hot springs. This is absent in this episode.
  • After Nagi had recovered from the effects of the hot spring, Sakuya's line to herself about how she knew that Nagi would yell at Hayate is absent in this episode.
  • After having gotten dressed, Nagi calls Hayate stupid, as they head back to the Shimoda Sanzenin mansion. This is absent in this episode.
Chapter 119
  • At Hakuo Academy, while giving the Hakuo Three Amiga study lessons, Yukiji mentions that if they weren't failing in their subjects she'd be at Shimoda with the rest of her family, causing Miki to suggest that they all go to Shimoda. She then convinces Yukiji to go after having mentioned that the limit on her credit card was 1.8 million yen. This is absent in this episode.
  • At the Shimoda Sanzenin mansion, as Nagi reflects on how Hayate didn't blush when he saw her naked, Nagi is shown to be sitting on her bed. In the manga, she was laying down.
  • Before looking into the mirror in her bedroom, Nagi recalls the six year old girl, from the TV interview on the effects of the hot springs from Shimoda. This is absent in this episode.
  • After having looked into the mirror and then seeing no results from the hot spring, Nagi smashes some furniture in her room causing Hayate to check on her. This is not present in this episode.
  • After having asked Hayate if he had experienced any effects from the hot springs, Nagi pulls out a squirt gun and shoots him with it. Upon seeing no results, she tells him that she was looking forward to seeing him turn into a girl from the mysterious properties caused by the meteorite. This is absent in this episode.
  • As Maya crashes into Nagi's bedroom, Maria and Hayate overhear the windows breaking, causing Maria to note that Nagi is making another scene. This is absent in this episode.
