Differences in the Manga

Chapter 82

• As Nagi rushed to greet Hayate upon his return to the Sanzenin Mansion, her outfit had been altered for this scene. In this episode, Nagi is seen wearing a white turtle neck shirt, a short maroon colored skirt and black over the knee socks. In the manga, she wore a stripped long sleeve shirt over a black shirt and a long ruffled skirt with black socks.
• While talking to Tama about Shiranui's arrival to the Sanzenin Mansion, Hayate is shown to be peeling potatoes in the kitchen. In the manga, Hayate was putting laundry into a washing machine in the laundry room.
  • Additionally, Hayate is shown to have removed his butler coat. In the manga, he still had it on.
• After having been told by Nagi that he'd have to sleep outside her room, Tama is shown with a large amount of cooking seasonings, then asks Hayate which seasoning is best for kittens. In the manga, Tama pulls out two onions and asks him how many onions it would take to kill a kitten.
• After Nagi had left to take a bath, Hayate is shown holding Shiranui while feeding him. In the manga, Shiranui was on the floor as Hayate fed him.

Chapter 83

• After Nagi agreed to meet Isumi at the Sanzenin Mansion, the time on the Hakuo clock tower is shown to be 12:50. In the manga, it was 1:00.
• Upon arriving at the Sanzenin Mansion, Isumi is shown in a blue kimono. In the manga, she was wearing a floral patterned kimono with a stole over it.
• While escorting Isumi to see Shiranui, Isumi stops in the middle of a hallway and tells Maria that she senses a negative aura in a room which Tama was in. This is not present in the manga.
• As Nagi was showing Shiranui to Isumi, Hayate walks into the room and watches Shiranui react negatively to Isumi. This is not present in the manga.
• As Izumi visited Sakuya to get advice on how to get Shiranui to like her, Sakuya's outfit was altered for this scene. In this episode Sakuya is shown to be wearing a pink long sleeved shirt with a black singlet underneath, a short blue skirt and black tights. In the manga, she wore a ruffled shirt with a cardigan and a long frilled skirt.
• Wanting to get rid of the smell of seaweed, Isumi goes to take a bath, but is joined by Sakuya and the Hakuo Three Amiga afterwards. This is not present in the manga.
• After having chased Sakuya out of the room, Isumi asks Nagi if she could stay and play with Shiranui a little longer. This is not present in the manga.
• Afterwards, as Nagi and Isumi play with Shiranui on the mansion grounds, Hayate brings Tama outside and tells him that Nagi had said that it was not fun without him, to which Tama happily goes to join Nagi, Isumi and Shiranui. This is not present in the manga.

Trivia

• After having wrapped Isumi's head with seaweed and given her a dried bonito lit on fire, Sakuya says Final Sword Kaguzu- (Tsui no Hiken: Kaguzu). This is a reference to the technique Tsui no Hiken: Kaguzuchi used by Makoto Shishio in Rurouni Kenshin.
