At the Sanzenin Mansion, Hayate asks Nagi if there was something she would like that would make her happy, to which she then tells him that she'd like a kind of drill that would activate a robot. This is a reference to the Core Drill that is used to power up the gunmen, Lagann in the series Gurren Lagann.
